Claims
The Nueva Union property has just one
claim, called Nueva Union, which covers 211.89 hectares.
Exploration Program
The Nueva Union property has been
covered by Induced Polarization and Magnetic geophysical surveys as
well as geological mapping and detailed geochemistry. Drill targets
were outlined at the north and south ends of the property.
Geology
The Nueva Union property is underlain by
the uppermost rocks of the Lower Volcanic Sequence that exhibit
intense argillic alteration and silicification. These rocks are in
contact with the basal unit of the Upper Volcanic sequence, which
form steep rhyolitic cliffs along the western edge of the property.
Several old mine tunnels and shafts occur on the Nueva Union
property, but most of these have been deemed too dangerous to enter
at the moment.
